We had the opportunity to start our business when we were based on The Gold Coast. With our extended family long time and well known residents of The Manning Valley we regularly traveled here for weekends and holidays. It became harder and harder to pull ourselves away. From a business perspective we saw a need in this market for alternative providers of business insurance who have a real passion for the community.

I’m a firm believer in locals supporting locals and we make conscious decisions to deal locally. Active in the business community I enjoy providing solutions for business Insurance in The Mid North Coast & Upper Hunter Valley regions and beyond. You can usually see me as Emcee of local events like Lakeside Festival, Taree Carols in the Park or Australia Day Celebrations.

I spent over 12 years in broadcasting full time which took me from home in Melbourne right up and down the eastern sea board and inland. It was a great career and something I still have a passion and an ear for. I’m good to have at a table on trivia nights if the questions turn to music or sport due to my first career. Insurance came along in 2002 at GIO and I quickly developed a passion for the role it plays in people’s lives and businesses.

I am a born and bred Manning Valley girl. My family own a now third generation Real Estate agency in Taree. Naturally I was born with Real Estate in my blood. Just ask my husband about my “research” into properties and land. Whilst born into a real estate family I found a real passion for radio when I was in high school. With friends I used to run shows on school radio and community radio until heading to university in Melbourne to studio commercial Radio. The job took me all over place and I started to specialise in creative writing and voice overs.

We still operate a small voice over studio from our home in Taree and you can hear my voice on any number of message on holds or corporate presentations.

Our children attend Manning Valley Anglican College & Taree High School and also love life on The Mid North Coast. When not dancing in Eisteddfods they are walking the dog on the banks of the Manning or down at Wallabi Point and growing into beautiful mature little girls.

I’m Tier Two compliant in Insurance broking and share our desire to protect the community we live in. It’s so important that business protects itself as it has a knock on effect with staff, family and the community if they don’t.

I joined IA in May 2018 after 14 years working for a Financial Planner in Forster. Never having experienced General Insurance before I saw this as a great new challenge and chance to help our community.

Born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, I worked in the Commonwealth Bank after leaving school for 12 years until having my first Child. Moving on from Sydney to the Central Coast, we spent 5 years at Empire Bay, when my husband Troy & I decided to make the big move to Forster in 2003, to be closer to my parents. Currently living in Old Bar with our 3 children, I have grown to love this quaint little town that I am happy to call home. In my spare time I sing lead in a couple of local cover bands on weekends and spend many times a week training for various Half Marathons and Ultra Trail Marathons with a running group around Old Bar or down by The Manning River doing Parkrun. Touch Football and Indoor Netball are also 2 sports I play regularly.

Thanks to IA, I am now Tier Two compliant in Insurance broking and are working closely with a small portfolio of domestic clients helping on their Home & Contents, motor vehicles and other personal items.

With IA, I believe that creating awareness of why being satisfactorily insured is important and also becoming better educated toward assisting the community in having access to the most comprehensive protection available.

I joined IA in March 2022 after 14 years working for Accident & Health International in Sydney. Having spent my entire career working for an Insurance Company I was exposed to many facets of the industry including Underwriting and claims management. These are skills I’m looking forward to expanding upon now I’ve moved into Insurance Advising.  I’m originally from the Blue Mountains but made the sea change in 2021 with my partner Matt and our two young children. We’re now building a home at Old Bar and really looking forward to settling into life on The Mid North Coast. When not working I’m enjoying getting to know more about our area and spending time with the children. We’re exploring as much as possible and love the lifestyle and opportunities the region has to offer.  Moving into an adviser role is an exciting opportunity as I’ve seen first-hand the value Insurance advisers plays in business and the community. To be in a position to now help educate on risk and guide our clients through the process of assessing and mitigating is a challenge i'm looking forward to.
